I recently spent a whirlwind 24 hours in Brighton. The reason? I was trying to get myself round all the many brilliant secondhand, vintage and charity shops.
If you have all the time in the world to shop and browse, lucky you. But if you are short of time or looking for a quick hit list, these are my favourites…
Vine Street Vintage

A fabulous treasure trove of eclectic vintage and antique homeware. I could have moved in. Still might.
You can find them on Instagram here.
WOLF AND GYPSY VINTAGE

I’ve wanted to visit this shop for so long – the perfect mix of vintage, secondhand, reworked pieces and independent brands.
It did not disappoint – I walked away with a number of purchases and will definitely be back. Wonderfully warm staff too.
Their online shop is a dream, as is their Instagram feed.
HOPE AND HARLEQUIN

If you have a big occasion to dress for, or simply see every day as an occasion to celebrate, then this is the shop for you. Packed to the rafters with the most incredible statement pieces – every single item is special.
And the bridal section is the best I have ever seen – if you are getting married, this should be your first port of call.
You can find them on Instagram here.
And their website here.
SNOOPERS PARADISE

This store is a vintage Mecca – an emporium showcasing 100s of different vintage sellers. It ranges from true antique clothing up to more modern vintage + a huge range of eclectic homeware too.
You can find them on Instagram here.
And their website here.
THE FLOCK

A super cute store stocking a curated range of vintage, secondhand + reworked pieces. The window display gives you a good idea of how much care and love has gone into this little shop. Definitely worth a browse.

Happy shopping!
