At the beginning of lockdown, Manifesto Woman launched a charity drive raising money for The Trussell Trust, a charity responsible for running over 1,200 food banks across the UK. You can read our original post here.
The outpouring of support we received from the Manifesto Woman community was phenomenal – donating, promoting, buying, all of it. Our final sale for the charity will be taking place next week (5th of August 2020), but that’s not the end.
Now, more than ever, society’s most vulnerable need our support, so we are making charity fundraising a permanent feature at Manifesto Woman. And we are going big, but small… focusing on the lesser known charities who are struggling the most.
We are in the process of setting up a Community Interest Company, which means we don’t have to pay VAT on donations. Hopefully we will have it all up and running in September – we will keep you up to speed on all developments.
